Moraiolo

MORAIOL The origin is Tuscany and its current diffusion concerns, in addition to this region, also other areas of Central Italy.The plant is rather rustic and suitable for hilly soils away from the coasts but with good exposure, well drained and subjected to low rainfall in how much it fears water stagnation. The oil yield is among the highest and this is particularly rich in antioxidants, especially polyphenols. It has powerful hints of fruit, levels of bitterness tending to thistle-artichoke and, in the final, a sharp and short spicy.
